Karl Drais was an german inventor in the 18th to 19th century. He invented the laufmaschine which means running machine. It would later coin the name dandy horse. The dandy horse started the foundation for the motorcycle and bicyle.

Joseph von Fraunhofer was a german inventor in the 19th century. His most famous invention was the spectroscope. The spectroscope is an instrument used to measure properties of light over a specific portion. This lead to many findings in the scientifiic field. The doppler effect is one of the major scientific findings using the spectroscope. The doppler effect show if stars and moving towards or away from the earth.
